Abstract

The present article explores a resource-oriented, multilingual approach to language teaching that supports learners' linguistic diversity while reducing language anxiety. Drawing on the Trio magazine "Hallo Österreich!", the present study proposes practical strategies for integrating learners’ full linguistic repertoires through translanguaging. The study highlights how multilingual materials and tasks can foster motivation, participation, and language awareness. A didactic proposal illustrates how to create inclusive, low threshold learning environments in which all languages are valued as resources from the very first lesson.
